The Covid-19 pandemic has flipped the world upside down, leaving many in financial despair. Many parents are struggling to find the funds needed to set their children up for success during the upcoming school year. Over the years, legendary Queens musician and owner of Wundertwinz record label, Mr. Cheeks has gained a reputation for throwing charities, fundraisers, parties and givebacks to support the neighborhood he grew up in.  This year he teamed up with his longtime road manager Derrick Hughes, aka D2, to help gear kids up with school supplies.

Through partnering up with the DDS Foundation, Cheeks and Hughes were able to call in the “Vaxx Van” to give out much needed vaccines to the people in the area. On site vaccinations are free and no insurance will be required. Live interpretation services will be available.

Anyone in the Tri-State area is welcome to join Mr. Cheeks, and Hughes at the Healing Temple Church of God in Christ, located on the corner of 133rd and Rockaway Blvd in Queens, NY. Feel free to pick up or drop off supplies and enjoy the company of the LB Fam.

Join Mr. Cheeks, D2, Hamptons Dave, the Wundertwinz Label and many others this Sunday from 3-8 PM at Healing Temple Church of God in Christ (132-20 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11420).
